Component overide breaking ignoring fixed contraint of Parent assembly

Master
Master

We have machine assemblies and do component overides on certain components to show the drawings correctly. As we moved into NX 11 when we do a component overide on the child, suppress the assembly constraint that controls the movement we need, and then apply our new constraint it moves the whole machine not the component. The machine is brought in at abs origin and then a fixed constraint is applied. In 8.5 we had some but not much problem with this. Any ideas?

It would help if you could upload some images of the constraints navigator for the level where the override takes place. A before and after picture would be good to show the type of constraints that are being added by the system.

This is not really enough info to go on.
One thing you can do is check if there is anything fixing the machine in the top assembly. Normally there would be a fix or a fix and a bond constraint present.
