Component's Attributes linking at assembly level

Phenom
Phenom

Master Model Drawing Templates use component’s “SIZE” attribute.

In Component’s attributes, I would like to link “SIZE” attribute to component’s “MW_STOCK_SIZE” attribute.

Currently I’ve made a Macro to run at component level individually. It’s time consuming to open a part at a time to run this macro.

Is there a better way to propagate this attribute linking at the Assembly level for all its components?

These are the  steps I'm taking now:

  1. Open the attached part; model1
  2. check its attributes:mf_20150911_02.JPG
  3. Run the Journal file: "j_sizs.vb"
  4. Check again the attributes:mf_20150911_03.JPG
  5. You will see new "SIZE" attribute value linked to MW_STOCK_SIZE.
  6. Since "MW_STOCK_SIZE" could be manipulated at assembly level through PDW, the idea is to link thoseattributes to work with existing attributes of MMT drawing templates and BOM/part lists.
  7. Is there way to apply that Journal file to the whole project assembly at once? Currently I'm appling individually.

If this could be done including to other attributes too (through a small mapping program?), then it will be much more easier to absorb outsourced designs in to follow company standards and templates.

Or else, Is there a better way to do this process?
