Counterbore holes

Dear All,

Is it possible to make a table with standard couterbore holes in order to simply place these as feature in a model?

I find it strange and a pity that this is not standard integrated in the hole comment. Now I every time have to look up and change these values manually.

Regards, Michel

Standard size Counter bores are listed in the hole command.

With the Hole command, make sure you select a Type = Screw Clearance Hole. Then select a hole Form = Counterbored.

With those set, choose a Screw Size and Screw Type. The Counterbord parameters are automatically filled in.

There was a thread earlier about how to change the table values.

If you want to customize your C/B hole sizes, edit the following (Make sure to save a copy for recovery)

…\NX xx.x\UGII\modeling_standards\nx502_Screw_Clearance_Hole_Standard.xml

When you restart NX, it will use new values.
