For date/day - use Part Attributes, which has a 'Date' Data Type.
For Path - use Expressions - enter "first(mqc_askAssemblyStructure())" for the formula.
For the Drafting/PMI Note, expand "Symbols", change the Category to "Relationships" on the dialog and choose Insert Expression or Insert Part Attribute.

Does that help?

If you can't find it in the documentation just post here in the forums Smiley Wink or call your local GTAC office.

Ben,

How would you mass populate a new expression's formulae such as ``first(mqc_askAssemblyStructure())`` in to existing project files?

For Expressions, is there a similar function like "Attribute Templates" for attributes?

I don't think there's an "expression template" (but I may be wrong).

You can do this a couple ways.

1) edit your seed parts

2) Add an API program/Journal that will (if needed) add expressions you want to an existing part.  Either add it to a button on the toolbar, or use menuscript to add it as a "post" action on the "create part" (and maybe "open part", to catch legacy parts) button(s)
