Decimal Place Default for differet Dimension Styles

Creator
Creator

I am working in NX 9.0.2.5.

My company uses standard dimensions for the overall length, width and height of a part.  For these we can use one place decimal dimensions.

We use ordinate dimensions for feature size and position on the part (holes, pockets, etc...).  For these, we generally use a two place decimal.

Is there a way to set the number of decimal places individually for different types of dimensions?

Thanks for your help,

Matt

Re: Decimal Place Default for differet Dimension Styles

NX allows to set the decimal places precision for current session using preferences and customer defaults settings by means it will apply settings to all new parts that you are going to create.

As far as I know there is no such settings to have different decimal places to different dimensions (Ordiante,Radial etc). Decimal places settings will apply to all dimensions irrespective of its type. May be any work around by crating macro/journal can help.
