Define Deformable Part with Sheet Metal parts ?

Hello

Can I use: Menu -> Tools -> Define Deformable Part with Sheet Metal parts ? ( is it compatible ? )

  • I want to change a 1pc Angle to 70* or 110*. The angle is inside a Contour Flange.
  • It gives an error about References or so... ?

I'm only changing a angle value between 70*/110*. Why it needs references ?

What I'm doing wrongly ?

Hi @12131444,

I do not know, how good is this practise to create a SM part with deformation as 'Define Deformable Part' is available in the modeling application.

Refer the attached video. I have used 'By Number Range' option to vary the angle between range 70 and 110 rather than using 'By Options'.

Why my "OK"-button in greyed out ?

What resolve reference means ?

As edge of the base tab is used to create the contour flange and base tab is created using the plane of datum CSYS, so you must add tab and datum CSYS along with contour flange to the deformable part features as shown to make it work.

This is because there are some unresolved references.
