Detail (Letter Format)

Legend

Hello,

is it possible to configure the Detail-Letter Format that a detail in a drawing starts with the letter "Z" instead of "A"

I could not find a way to change that.

We would like that details start with Z follwoed by Y, X and so on.

Thanks!

Regards,

Thomas

Hi @TomK76 ,

I believe automatic alphabetically descending order for detail view letter is not possible.

@AmolKadam  do you know if there would be a way running a journal which renames the details according to what I need?

Can you cite a drafting standard (ASME, ISO, etc.) that allows this?

In general, NX Drafting is set up to follow the standard you select.

You can set the desired drafting standard in customer defaults:

*In general*

- If something is specified in a drafting standard, Siemens tends to (eventually) implement it.

- If it is just some company-specific oddity (and NOT in a standard), you'll have to get a lot of support from other users (post your ER number for others to support) to get Siemens interested...

(If you don't know, ER = Enhancement request - start by filing an IR with GTAC or your local reseller)
