If I am constraining two cylindrical surfaces by grabbing their centerlines, how do I know which direction the centerline (vector) is pointing?
Using the "infer center/axis" orientation touch align type constraint, you can reverse the direction of the constraint. If you reverse this constraint, an error would occur. This implies that when applying the "infer center/axis" orientation constraint or parallel between two centerlines, there is a vector direction that NX is using. I hope this question makes sense.
