hi experts!

----(several questions about managing Part Families in NX10)----,

someone know about documents for clearly explain the difference

beetween the columns about mass weight in named solids and asserted weight.

Futhermore I need documentation about how to proceed to get information to

fill cells in spreadsheet and about Attributes too.

How have I put Attributes on Parts and then fill cells in spreadsheet with these values?

Thanks in advaced for your help!!

you can always  add attributes to the parent part of the family.

If you add the attributes to a column you can fill them in excel.

when creating the members all added attribute columns will be added in the members.

In excel you can also use the concatenate sum function to reuse some values to create for example a description.

for part family you can add:

  • Epxressions
  • features
  • mirror
  • density
  • Material
  • Asserted Mass
  • Attributes
  • components.
