if you created the Balloons manually then you can link the lower value to a callout.

When you see the dialog go to the edit text of the lower text.

Change category to relationships ->use Insert Object attribute

Here you can select the component where you want to use the callout from.

Hi @ruud_vandenbrand,

balloon are added automatically.

Callout and part name is an option available on part list setting, but I'm not able to set Callout and 'custom attribute'.

Thank you...

Hi @cubalibre00,

Parts List Settings, try this

Symbol - Divided Square

Main Symbol Text - Custom

Custom Text - "<T<W$=@$PART_NAME>!$~C>"

You may need to adjust balloon size accordingly.

Ganesh

Hi @GaneshKadole,

thank you for the support.

I tried to use a custom attribute , because there are part numbers different to file name.

For example we have some part numbers with this syntax '4-100100/00' but the file name is '4-100100-00' because Windows doesn't accept special characters. So we use a custom attribute for the part number.

Your string <T<W$=@$PART_NAME>!$~C> works fine, but if I replace PART_NAME with our custom attribute like this <T<W$=@$Codice>!$~C>, it doesn't work.

Again, it's possible to position texts centered and set a different height for the 'Divided Square' ?iexplore_2018-05-16_15-52-41.png

Hi @cubalibre00,

Your string <T<W$=@$PART_NAME>!$~C> works fine, but if I replace PART_NAME with our custom attribute like this <T<W$=@$Codice>!$~C>, it doesn't work.

Remove the highlighted "$" preceeding the Codice attribute.

Again, it's possible to position texts centered and set a different height for the 'Divided Square'

Lettering Preferences

For balloon symbols, all text created within the symbol is center justified regardless of the Alignment Position setting.

ER 6023246 - Allow alignment/justification of text in an ID Symbol/Balloon

Hi @BenBroad,

thank you for your rapid response and solution.

I verified for lettering preferences and on NX 11.0.2 for Balloon, changing preferences did not reflect.

Then the ER is for this case.
