I think I understand your question now. It sounds like you invoke a command in drafting, zoom into an area on the drawing and then cancel the command and NX zooms out to show the entire sheet.
If this is the behavior you're seeing, then we already have an existing Enhancement Request (ER) asking that the drawing remain zoomed in when the command is cancelled: ER 5904125. You can open an IR with GTAC and ask that you're added to the ER so you are notified regarding any updates to the ER.
Yes that is the Idea It is terrible when the software zooms out to show the entire sheet
Do I have to send a report?
I don't understand GTAC and ER
Thank you very much
GTAC - Global Technical Access Center (support for PLM Solutions' products).
ER - Enhancement Request
To submit an ER, open a new Incident Report (IR) with your local GTAC office explaining that you would like to submit a new enhancement to the product. They will have you complete a template to describe why the ER is required and then close your IR as an ER. For existing ER's, such as the one above, simply inform the support engineer that you would like to be added to the existing ER and give them then ER number. They will take care of the rest.
Note many dialogs behave similarly, e.g. if you change the layer settings while IN the dialog, they are not retained if you cancel.
Production: NX10.0.3.5 MP16/TC11.2
I'd rather be e-steamed than e-diseaseled
