Searching the solution center hasn't found me anything, but has anyone else noticed this? When you select something with a drop down, before you get to select an option, the screen blinks, and you have to start over with the drop down. Generally this happens 3 times, before you can actually select what you want. It's not predictable, to recreate for a movie, or anything. We aren't sure if its an NX issue, or a Windows 8/10 issue. Every user here has the issue.
Not menu specific.
Not workstation, or user specific either
It's only with NX too, other drop downs in other software behave. I would describe it as the drop down taunting you, it drops, and just as your about to get to the selection, its gone. This happens 3ish times. I'm not sure if its a time window, or a number of attempts to select thing, because some users say the number of tries varies.
We're experiencing the same problem since our migration to Nx11 which was last April.
I think only the user using Win10 workstations are experiencing the issue. As the IT is switching more and more workstations to Win10, we're getting more complaints about this phenomenon. Furthermore, as it's not easy to capture, I did not do anything about it when it began. Finding your post is a "good" news.
Have you found anything or are you still expriencing it ?
Thank you very much,
We are still experiencing it. It is so random, and unpredictable, we have pretty much given up on trying to capture it on video. I think we would have to just start recording at the begining of the day.
Pretty much everyone here i on Win 10 now, and pretty much everyone has experienced the blinking. 3 times seems to be the pattern, but there is some debate on that, and may be tied to how fast you are with the mouse. As an experiment, when I get the first 'flicker', I've stopped moving the mouse for a couple seconds, and then it has not flickered. My guess is, Windows 10 is doing something, and if you move the mouse in NX during that time, you get flickers.
Very strange, "undocumented feature"
Thank you for your answer.

That's what I was beginning to think..

We experience the same behaviour. What's strange is that I do not have this behaviour in any other application. It seems to be linked to the couple NX/Win.
Have you tried to raise an IR about this ? I was reluctant to do it without any "proof" or "support".
I just looked thru my IR's, and I don't see one, and thinking back, I think I was of the same mind set as you...how do I explain this, when I can't repeat it at will, or capture it on video? My hope was this thread on here would help, maybe find other users with the issue, or Siemens PLM employees that have seen the anomoly.
