Site-level defaults are defined, all necessary variables are set. But user's machine is launched with User-level defaults and drafting standard in drafting files is subsequently taken from the User-level setting, while Site-level settings and corresponding drafting standard is required. How can Site-level settings be enforced upon NX launch?
Have the desired options been locked at the site level? If not, the user defined options can (and will) override them.
Once you lock them at the site level, the user level settings will (likely) cause a warning message during NX startup.
To get rid of the message, IIRC:
- look in the NX log file (File -> Help -> Log file) to see what settings are causing the issue
- IIRC, you can't use customer defaults to delete them (I may be wrong). If you can't, you have to manually delete them from the DPV file (assuming you want to save the other user level settings) - open DPV n a text editor, find & delete the appropriate lines.
Production: NX10.0.3.5 MP16/TC11.2
I'd rather be e-steamed than e-diseaseled
