Does anyone have experience dealing with this error in NX10? It displays everytime I try to add a dimension to a model sketch or to the drawing of the part.
The file was running fine yesterday, but NX was automatically shut down by a windows update when I was away from my desk.
I've had the error before and found that the problem was also experienced by some colleagues opening the same part, but not everyone.
NX10 has been reinstalled but the error still happened after that. I ended up completely restarting the model last week which worked fine up until this morning.
I've had a look at the Information File and all the error messages are either :
'Error code 3175000' or
'O/S ERROR: signal 11'
Previous issues reported to GTAC show that this has occured when UGII_DRAFTING_STANDARD_DIR was pointing to a directory that had an incomplete set of files. I would suggest calling your local GTAC office and provide them with a copy of a syslog that has captured the error.
I also recommend reporting to GTAC.
If you want to solve this problem, you will first need to approach the cause.
Example: Add dimension to drawing view.
Which view does it occur?
If occurring only in a particular view, is there a common shape or component for those views?
Does the problem resolve when you hide it from the view?
Example: Add dimension to sketch.
Which sketches will occur? (New sketches, all existing sketches, specific sketches)
If it occurs with a new sketch, try deleting all the features and objects and try again.
If it improves, gradually reduce the object or feature to be deleted and try it.
I hope your problem will be solved.
