Fixing color change when importing from 3D NX to drafting

Pioneer

Hi,

I am having a problem where the color I have in 3D model is changing when I import the view to drafting. Is there a way to fix that? The first pic below is the 3D and the second one is in drafting. It is going from red to yellow for some reason.

Thanks.

Were the colors applied to faces of the 3D model, or was a "decal" applied?

Is the drawing contained in the same part file as the model or are they in separate files? If separate files, do both part files use the same color definition file (CDF)?

It was applied to the model but it was made in solid edge. I then opened the 3D file and in NX and saved it as an NX model and it looked fine but the moment I imported it into drafting the color changed. The drawing is not contained in the same part file. They are separate. If the pic you see below is what you meant by CDF. They both have the same CDF.

Update: It turns out the CDF were not exactly the same. There was a subtle different between them so I was able to save the right CDF and import it into my draft and fix it. Thanks for the help.
