Flat-Pattern(Sheet Metal): remove bend annotations by default ?
If you want the annotations in your drawing, but not the exported DXF, you can create/move the annotations to a separate layer. When exporting the DXF, exclude the annotation layer from the export operation.
We do two views, one with all the bend data, and one without for the water jet/laser cutter. The one for cutting, we edit the view to not show the callouts, and anything else not needed.
If you use the flat pattern export function (to DXF or Trumpf GEO format) you don't have to deal with those bend call outs.
You will only see the geometry you choose; it will always have the correct face up; it will have the direction that you want (if defined in the flat pattern feature); it will always be scale 1:1.
So I would advise to use this NX Sheet Metal function. It's a huge time saver.
