Does any body know what kind of modul to make design gear and crank shaft in NX?

Read GC_Toolkits_GearModeling.pdf in ......UGII_BASE_DIR\LOCALIZATION>prc>documents

 

Up to version 7.5 this module does not require any license.

Thanks for your informations .

so we don't need any license to use gear modeling. How about cam modeling? does any solution in NX to make cam modeling like gear modeling?

CAM? you mean machining?

you need license for it. i think it is mach3? NX 12450 if I am not mistaken.

Dear Jahnsen,

 

it's not machining proces, but to creating cam part (one of component in the otomotive part, generally cam is assembled by shaft.

never heard of an application for that.

but for this kind of models, I think PTS will help you.
