HELP WITH NX MCD

Hi! I want to move a Z Axis using inputs. "IN1 on" Axis go Up, "IN2 on" Axis go down. I then want to use some sensor to stop the axis. I could use a position control but since I want to stop it with sensors a simply control velocity seems to be good.

The problem comes in because this is a vertical axis, so on zero velocity it falls down and I can't control it's descending movement. What could I use instead...

Sorry! I've solved it. I just do nor understand that as soon as you apply an actuator it works like exoected.

Hello IlFincoITA,
Im glad you solved it.

Did you control the velocity (e.g. set to 0) or did you turn the speed control off (active = false) when you hit the sensor?
Because when you deactivate the control, it will act as a passive axis without any motor and could fall down due to gravity.
Can you also mark the thread as solved, if you found the solution.

Thanks and best regards
