Hi, my first post here.
I started using nx a recently. Previously I was using CATIA.
I wanted to show hidden lines (for holes, machining etc) for only one or two parts (in red area in the picture attachment) in entire assembly. Usual settings show it for entire assembly and render set changes body outline type (not hidden lines). In CATIA there was option of "overload properties".
Is there amy way to show hidden lines for only selected bodies?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Which command did you use?
I tried secondary goementry but its not working. I don't understand why. Its not showing any changes when I make hidden lines visible or visible lines dash-dotted etc.
I have read your post.
Alternatively you may just RMB the component (you want to show in hidden lines) in assembly navigator of drafting module & then choose Edit Object display > select Line font as hidden > click OK. Now update the drawing view.
Your required component in the drawing view gets hidden lines.
This is very simple method instead of render sets.
