Note you can set a component to be ignored by the parts list.
I think there's a newer way, but the old way to do this was to define the attribute PLIST_IGNORE_MEMBER (or PLIST_IGNORE_SUBASSEMBLY ) - look in the docs for those terms & what they do.
If you ALWAYS want this component to be suppressed (e.g. it is a customer drawing of the space your part needs to fit into) you can assign it to the part itself.
If you want it to be suppressed in this assembly ONLY, you define it on the COMPONENT in the context of the assembly.
