you have to use the plot functionality. There is a Tiff Printer, but unfortunately the DPI setting is set to a low value (72dpi). Please do following steps:
File -> Plot
In the Actions group, click Advanced Plot.
A new dialog appears, TIFF Export File should be preselected in the Printer screen.
Select the Print setup tab
- Change the Resolution to a good value (e.g. 600 dots/in)
- change the Compression level if desired (or other options)
- Click "Print" button at the bottom and save your file.
Thanks for your reply.
I tried to plot as per your suggestion but it is not getting complete. Even after 10 to 15 min plot it is in progress on NX window. Let me know what might be the reason.
if the software does not work as expected, even if you are doing everything right, it looks like a bug, and therefore it is recommended to contact GTAC.
As a temporary solution, you can save the CGM-File in the Plot dialog and use the cgm2tiff utility, which you can find in the NXPLOT directory of the NX installation to create the tiff. Not nice, but a workaround.
