How to order coordinate systems ?

Creator

Hello everyone !

I got a question for you : I don't know how to reorder (parent/child) the coordinate systems of an existing FEM in NX11.

When i am importing it in NX11, the coordinate systems are ordered yet and I need to reorder them ...

Could you please help me on this point ?

Thanks in advance,

Hi
If you mean order of CSYS from Simulation Navigator,
you can select each CSYS and [MB3 > Edit].
Then change 'Label' number from CSYS dialogue.

Hello Skahn,

Thank you for your answer but this is not answering my question.

In fact, the CSYS are already ordered :

CSYS 150

    -> CSYS 201

    -> CSYS 202

    -> CSYS 203

         -> CSYS 301

         -> CSYS 302

              -> CSYS 401

              -> CSYS 402

In this example, I need to reorder the CSYS in order to have the CSYS 402 father of the CSYS 150 :

CSYS 402

    -> CSYS 150

        -> CSYS 201

        -> CSYS 202

        -> CSYS 203

             -> CSYS 301

             -> CSYS 302

                  -> CSYS 401

Is it more clear ?

Thanks in advance,

Edit csys 402, turn off the "associative" option, reorder csys 402 before csys 150 by drag and drop or by using the "reorder" command, then edit csys 150 to be associative to csys 402. If there are any features dependent on these csys objects, they may be affected as well.
