I don't have access to SolidWorks. Is there any way to import a .SLDPRT file to NX?

Thanks!

If you have the right license, you can use file -> open and change the filter to sldprt.

Hi @cowski1 @mike_fdo

I only checked the menu File -> Import and never thought it can be simply in File -> Open.

Thank you both!

@surfactant,

File -> Open can work for all supported/licensed file formats including the neutral file formats like DXF, IGES and STEP.  The issue can be when using File -> Open the template part file that is used can cause different results compared to File -> Import into the current part that is open.

@WinnCh, There is no additional/special license required to open ".sldprt",".sldasm" files.
