Another limitation is Lower case tolerance with Rapid Dimension in NX 9 aren't present.
You have to edit the dimension.
Step 1: Double-click to Edit Dimension
Step 2: Select Text Settings Button on Scene Dialog
Step 3: Change to the appropriate Hole / Shaft option
Step 4: Once “Shaft” is selected, the lower case options are available on the Settings UI and in the Scene Dialog
Thank you...

As far as I know this will be fixed in NX10 - good for those customer who want to skip NX9...
I hope there is no showstopper in NX10 because we aim to that release...

Did the webinar happen?

I barely use drafting, I just make some rough "prints" for the guys on the shop floor, not detailed drawings.

The advances in syncronous modeling and the addition of "fill surface" and "blend corner" make the jump to NX9 very worthwhile for me. It seems there are some background changes in blending (Face and Edge)as well. Things that would never blend in the past do so with ease now.

So what was the outcome of the webinar? Has it been held yet?

Will it be hosted somewhere so it can viewed by those who coludnt make it?

NX9 has brought some nice changes but there is some polish required still.

Regards

Adrian

Yes it has been held. As to whether it will be hosted somewhere is up to Mr Wingrave to comment.

Thanks Anthony, was any consensus about the UI reached? Did some of the earlier commenters get clarification/reassurance?
