Mold Wizard - How to re-open a project?

Experimenter
Experimenter

Hey everyone,

I have started using the Mouls Wizard in NX 9.0 a few days ago and I have some issues when I want to open a project.

So when I open my part and initialise a new project in the Mold wizard, I can use all functions properly. When saving, several dozen files are created in addition to my original part and each file contains one component of mold and mold base.

Once I close NX and want to continue working on this mold later, I haven't figured out how to do this. If I open the original part, I don't see any of the mold parts in the assembly tree. All I can do is initiaise a new project and start over...

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Thank you very much in advance!

Hello,

When you save the project, you will have a lot of files (all components). One is named "<yourpartname>_top_000.prt" - or something like this. That is the whole assemble of your generated mold.
Open that part and you can work again on your old project.

Hope it helps you.

Regards,
