I am looking for a simple effective way to morph a sheet body. Currently we use global shaping, creating a base, and than a control surface with the deviation requested by our customer. When we do the morph it messes up the zebra stripping (reflection lines). I am looking for a simpler way to get the change without messing up the reflection lines as badly.
Sorry i have no short one step solution to your problem. But i feel one option can be to use X-Form instead (with the Highlights kept ON) and do the pole manipulation slowly while vaildating that the highlights do not stray too much from the desired pattern.
That said i rely more on the comb curvature plot since it reflects the main aesthetic characteristic of the topology.
