Mouse buttons mapping

Phenom
Phenom

hello,

is it possible to remap mouse buttons ?

A user here would like to have MB1 + MB3 working as Pan.

It's an ordinary mouse, not a 3D pointer or other fancy device.

AFAIK a keyboard key could be bound to Pan, but not a mouse button.

Tnx

I don't think so.

Only way I can think of, he could probably change the button actions at the operating system (i.e. Windows control panels) level, however this will effect ALL applications, which they may not want

I've looked and I don't see anything there that would help.

I use a Logitech G500 "gaming" mouse.

It has a few extra programmable thumb buttons on it, I've mapped keys to those to make things easier for me.

I've tried Spaceballs and SpaceMice, but i'm not coordinated enough to use them effectively.
