Hello

How to move sheet metal flange's position with Move Face ?

  • I select all the flange's: faces, holes, sides and bends but it gives a large error list ?
  • What did I do wrong ?

Are you modifying the non parametric sheet metal part?

Yes. Body (0)-type.

You should not select the bend faces, you are moving them away from the other tab.

I guess you should change vector for moving. It should follow yours green arrow in first picture.

The flange you are trying to move resides on the other flange whose side faces have different orientation. There are two possibilities to use vector as shown in the image. Even if you select the faces excluding the bend faces and use move face command, probably it will fail as the changes will not be able to accommodate on the geometry. Give a try. Somehow if you will be move the flange along the inclined edge/direction, there will be change in the original length of flange.
