NPT looks like simple threaded hole

I need to show a 1/8 NPT on a model for a tube fitting. When using the hole command and selecting the inch NPT all I get in my model is what looks like a simple threaded hole. No taper to the threads. But in drafting the hole looks correct. Does anyone have suggestions on how to get the correct look in the model? I have been told by GTAC it is not possible.

That's the way UG/NX has ALWAYS worked.  Besides, If the threads are not being modeled, tapering the hole wouldn't add all that much to the physical model.  Now if your intentions are to create a photorealistic image, you're going to have to manually model the threads anyway since they ARE tapered.

Thanks John.
Thought I saw at one time a more realistic look but must have been something else.
Hope you are enjoying retirement. you were missed at the RMUG mid-year get together a few weeks ago.

It is what it is, but I enjoy not having to spend all that time in SoCal traffic ;-)
