I had an IGS import recently fail and the application locked up and quit halfway through (a simple bushing). Now every time I successfully import(open) an IGS, no matter what it is or where it came from, it attaches the bushing to every body that is imported. The bushing is stuck in the memory or temporary files somewhere and attaches it to everything. I have to manually select the imported bodies of the bushing and manually delte out of the part navigator.
Any suggestions on how to fix?

The original issue sounds like the bushing was saved in the igesnull part file, hence it was imported each time the null part file was called. These files (igesnullnx110_in.prt and igesnullnx110_mm.prt) can be found here, but they should be read-only so you can't write to them: C:\Program Files\Siemens\NX 11.0\IGES\
Open up these null parts in NX and see if you see the additional geometry. If you do, just remove the unwanted objects and save them, alternatively I've attached a copy of the OOTB v11 null parts if you need them.
