NX 1847 documentation problem

Hi!

 

I'm trying to use local docs of NX. Both of the following servers are running in my services tab of task manager:

Siemens PLM Documentation Server

Siemens PLM Solr Server

 

But Help isn't working as it should. For example there is no content for "Product area" pane.:

 

nR4iv1XOr its search function doesn't return anything for any word. I'm confused what could be wrong there!

 

Windows 10 Enterprise 1809 LTSC

Java RE 8u202 x64

Firefox/Chrome/IE

In a windows command prompt, go to the following directory

 

C:\Program Files\Siemens\PLM Documentation Server\solr_updates

 

(presuming that is where your documentation server is installed).

 

Then in the command prompt type in the following command & press enter

 

deploySolrIndex.bat nx1847-nx_help-en_US.zip http://localhost:8283/solr

 

This will reindex the search index for solr and fix the left hand index in the help & the searching.
