NX 8.0 - associative mass properties

Hi!  Does anyone know of a way to associatively measure the principle moments of inertia (Ixc, Iyc, Izc) of a body?  I’ve been able to use Knowledge Fusion to get an NX expression of them, but the values are expressed as a vector and I can’t seem to use them as individual values in other formulas.

Once you've got the point or vector into an expression, you can use localx(), localy() and localz() [or nx_x(), nx_y(), and nx_z(), starting in NX 8.5] to extract individual components of the point or vector into a number expression.

 

We do this automatically when we check the “Create individual coordinate expressions” during some of the newest measurement operations:
