I apologize for the "noob" question but this is an issue that is driving me nuts. I have scoured the forums here and have not found a solution that satifies my issue. I can't seem to get the text that is appended below a dimension to line up equally TO the dimension .I will usualy just fake a dimension with a Note but I feel like I'm adding more work for myself when I do that.
I would like the text beneath the dimension to be spaced closer to the dimension or at least be able to adjust the spacing between the 2nd & 3rd row to where it doesn't look so off kilter.
I have tried playing with the text sizes and spacing of the lettering and all of that but I still can't get it to look right. I'm still learning some of the nuances of NX but this is starting to become a distraction when I check drawings. Call me OCD but I would really like to find a solution to this.
Thank you, in advance
Right click the appended text and choose Edit Appended Text.
At the beginning of the "beneath" appended text string, enter <Z1.5>
P.F. FOR DET. 2
You can change the Z value to meet your needs.
See if that helps.
Adding to the suggestion of @BenBroad, you can change the appended text settings to suit your need by changing the values of Text Space Factor, Line Space Factor and Dimension/Appended Text Space Factor.
