Is there any way to expand the selection filter for render sets to include faces? Currently it only includes solids, curves, sheets.
For my use of this feature it would be very helpful to be able to select faces within solid bodies as well. Any opinions or work arounds that could be suggested?
A render set can only consist of stand-alone objects, like curves and bodies (solid/sheet). A face can't exist without its parent body and therefore is not a valid candidate which can be part of a Render Set.
The stand alone behavior is what I am used to but I wanted to see if there is a different approach to being able to select faces in that I think it would be beneficial for me. Possibly a different approach entirely rather then render sets?
