When detailing a threaded hole with Feature Parameters in NX8.5 the thread class would be called out automatically when the dimension was placed. Example: #4-40 UNC-2B THRU.
With NX 9 using the Radial Dimension Hole Callout not only is the thread class not included when the dimension is placed but it is NOT in the Settings, Hole Callout, Parameters dialog box. Example: #4-40 THRU.
Is there a reason this is not included when a dimension is placed? If so, why is it not available in the Radial Dimension Hole Callout Settings dialog box? Is it someplace else in NX 9 and we are just not able to find it? Please let us know.

It appears that this problem is going to be addressed with PR 7201827 (I'm waiting for confirmation).
Until this is fixed you can either manually add the standard on-the-fly as a suffix to Thread Size, or add the legacy Feature Parameters command back into your session as follows:
Menu > Tools > Customize
Under Categories, expand [-] Menu and then expand [-] Insert and select Dimension
Under Commands, drag "Feature Parameters" up to a group in your ribbon.
We have noticed that when using the suffix workaround you described that the text inserted is bold compared to the rest of the fonts in the drawing. Could you please tell us how to change the setting for the suffix text so it matches all the text in the drawing? We have searched through all the settings we could find to no avail.
I can't replicate what you have described. Would it be possible for you upload a sample part file?
So to recap...
Open the Radial Dimension dialog and change Method to Hole Callout
Select the Threaded Hole
Select "Settings" on the dialog
Select "Prefix/Suffix" from the list on the left to list the Hole Callout page on the right
Enter " UNC-2B" in the Suffix text entry field on the right
Close the Settings dialog, place the dimension and then Close the Radial Dimension.
This results in the Suffix text becoming bold?
Which version of NX9?
What font are you using?
Have you tried resetting the dialog (select the curly arrow on the top right of the dialog)?
What is "Settings Source" set to on the bottom of the Settings dialog?
Yes to your recap.
We are using the ideas_simplex "Thin Width" as opposed to the "Normal Width" that is showing up. We are looking for a setting to change the prefixes or suffixes to "Thin Width".
I do not see a curly arrow to reset the dialog?
Settings Source is set to "Preferences"
I can reproduce it now. It appears to be a software defect. There is an option on the Settings dialog within the Dimension Text page for "Scope: Apply to Entire Dimension", but it appears that this is not being applied. Can you report it to GTAC?
