Easy option: in the drafting view preferences, turn off the "smooth edges" option. This will turn off all the tangent lines shown in the view.
Less easy option: using view dependent edit you can delete all or part of any drafting curve that you choose.
Hard option: plot the drawing and use whiteout.
Edited for completeness. How's that, 1u7obd?
cowski, your answer is correct and it enhances my knowledge.
But When i use smooth edges option it not works similar to solidworks.
what i mean to say is that it removes that portion that i doesn't want to remove but in solidworks it works fine.
Cowski, you forgot the word 'easily'. :-)
When you don’t know that there are other ways of doing things much easier, it’s may be possible to believe in NX’s user friendliness.
NX’s mindset must be “When MBD is implemented, those 2d drafting will be obsolete”. So implement MBD!
For simple instance: In a NX drawing, how many clicks needed to change “show/hide hidden lines” where as in other software it’s just click of a button. Same buttons used in Modeling!
Oh yes, I forgot it’s possible in NX, we have to build a custom program for it.
