Hi, I have some doubts about the hole tables, see image below;  I have looked in the Help documentation, but I cannot find the answer, maybe someone can help me?

@Laurus

I think I can explain what is happening, but not why. In the case of threaded holes, if the hole definition includes a start and end chamfer, the system is selecting the point related to the inside of the relief chamfer instead of selecting the point on the placement face. I don't know if this is as designed or not, but you should probably submit an IR through GTAC to see what the code is actually supposed to do.

To fix your immediate problem you have 2 choices:

  • Change the hole table setting so that it only reports X and Y locations, or
  • Remove the start/end chamfers from the hole definition in the model.
Regards,
Abe

Thank you Abeinjapa,  this is a good  intuition, but I need the z coordiates too; I will try without the chamfer and see!
