Hello guys, I have installed NX10 help in a Linux server, that server has java1.7.0. 67 x64.
But when I try to use "search option" doesn't work . I don't get any message error just don't create the search,
Do I need to have java 1.7 installed in my workstation also?
Any advice/suggestion will be really apreciated!!
Thank you in advance!
You are aware that NX10 Help requires a webserver ?
( to free it from the Java version nightmare we had in earlier versions of NX)
- No i cannot help you with this webserver... - I only know it's mandatory.
The client will only need to know the web address of the help webserver, no java requirements.
If you continue to have problems getting the NX 10 Help and documentation server installed and running properly, please contact GTAC, they are prepared to support this new feature.
I just installed NX 10 help locally on my computer and it works.
Here are the steps:
Get the latest 64bit Java http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
Get the help install files, which you must have.
Install both the Doc Server and NX Documentation
Delete install files.
This works for me with Firefox, Win7, and NX10.
