Well, today I will call GTAC.
Have found the part-cleanup, but dont think that will fix the problem.
I can open a SW-assembly in NX, but when I add the same part as in the assembly, the thing crashes. That would indicate my parts are not to big, but the thing just crashes...
(offcourse I tried a thousand ways to make an assembly and have checked my graphics card)
Probably some dumb and elementary questions, but ...
- Did this ever work for you?
* In which version - if same version: what has changed (hardware, source of inserted parts, etc).
* Does this fail for everyone else where you are? If not - what is different for you?
Just taking some shots in the dark ...
Can you successfully open the part by itself (nothing else open) in NX?
If so, I'd suggest running examine geometry to see if there are any problems with the part. I've not personally seen a geometry error make NX crash as hard as you describe, but I wouldn't rule it out entirely...
Below are a few links about how to use the 'examine geometry' command in case you are not familiar with it.
Okay, no idea how it happened, but after calling GTAG and retrieving a link to update my drivers in another way than I already did, NX works again.
Apearently it were my drivers, weird that I couldn't find any reason to update them, even after installing a programme that checks another time for updates.
