NX9 step export problem with axis position

Experimenter
Experimenter

We got step files from the client and use NX9 to organize them and export the data in smaller chucks to step again (for obj creation in M.o.I or Rhino).

We tried two different approaches:

1) Export "entire part" - this changes the position of the object but keeps the objects name

2) Export "selected objects" - this keeps to position of the object but does not keep the objects name.

Is there a way to export single parts of a larger data set and keep both the objects position (and it's axis) as well as the name of the object right in the exported step file?

We fiddled around a bit with everything and found out, that the offset is caused by delta values in Component Translation. They are respected  when I export the entire part but disregarded (what I want) when I export selected objects.

Is there a way to tell the step export what coordinate system to use (and to keep or disregard delta values)? The IGES export does this but iges does not suit our workflow because iges does also not keep an objects name.
