New titleblock/border - optional blocks

When using the new titleblocks borders, how do people add "optional" sub blocks?

For instance, all of our drawings now require an "export" block (listing USML category or EAR99 or ECCN for USA parts, or whatever for other countries).  As it is a lot of text, I'm not sure I want to use expressions to alter the text - I'd rather replace one option (completely) with another.

Are these just set up as "1 x 1" tabular notes? (drag-n-dropped from re-use library)?

Or something else?

Hi Ken,

Have you considered creating custom symbols for these sub-blocks?  Then you can easily swap the symbols in and out, and use the positioning tools to associate them with points on the title block.  Plus, the power of custom symbols lets you update the master symbol at any time - similar to the way the old Pattern functionality worked.

I have a customer that does this by using groups.

They have all the groups in their template parts and the users turn the appropriate ones on depending on their requirements.
