Hello All,

I am trying to import a point cloud into NX however there is no display. I have have used the fit command to confirm the file is centered and went through the show/hidden tabs to make sure the view is enabled.

I am selecting the Reference Point Cloud

Then I select the file I wish to import.

Capture2.PNG

Then after clicking load points now and clicking ok, you can see the model has been loaded from the part navigator but nothing was displayed.

I think I need to enamble some feature but I can't seem to find where.

Many thanks

Did you press the "load points now" button in the dialog? If not, try expanding the point cloud folder, right clicking on the point cloud, and choosing "load points". If you still don't see anything, it might be a layer setting (the points are on an invisible layer) or the points might be outside the view clipping bounds.

However, I was working in a Virtual machine at the time and tried the same steps within my Native NX. There is works fine. There must be something wrong with my virtual machine rendering or something.
