Part Cleanup error

When using Part Cleanup on some parts i am getting an error message.

"  A deleted or invalid class id was used  "

I have tried unsucessfully to use a smaller and smaller subset of the Part Cleanup settings to try and isolate the issue.

What is causing this ?

NX 11.0.2.7

What options are you selecting in the part cleanup dialog? What data do you need to clean? To which application does it belong.. modeling, assembly, drafting? Could you please mention some more details.

This is in Modeling and this particular part has one body imported from a step 214 with no features added.

Cleanup is being run as a precaution, this part exhibits no other problems.

You can review the log file for the error. Did you try this on another machine or NX version?

Can you upload that part here? Because I got the same error with some particular steps/process related to PMI.

cannot upload file but i have uploaded the log.

The error does not occur on another machine but then reocurrs om my machine.

The log shows an error that I wonder may be pointing to an installation error?

The log file shows that you are using NX 11.0.2.7 MP3. Is the other computer (the one that does not error) at the same patch level?

This was submitted to GTAC and is now

The problem was found to be a rogue empty group created when the STEP data was imported. The group can be manually deleted via the Part Navigator. Development are going to determine why Part Cleanup raises the error and is not able to delete the empty group.
