We have recently upgraded our license server with new hard ware and Windows Server Software 2012 R2 Essentials.
I need to confirm if the PLM License Server for NX (ver 6.4) is compatible with the above Windows Server.
I have already tried to install the License server ver. 6.4 but I get the error duirng the console installation that "Installer Can be run on this System".
Any help/idea is appreciated.

I helped a customer recently who was working on WS 2012R2. It's so new he had to do a few things manually to get all his components properly working (he was trying to setup I-deas 6.4translations, but the Licensing bit is the same as NX 9).
As suggested by John, search GTAC, specifically try the string "Windows Server 2012R2".
There should be a number of articles returned, most of which discuss tips to get Licensing running. There was at least one that I saw that seems to meet your case, in which the solution was not to use that UI mode.
I won't try to repeat all the details here since there are elseshwere on GTAC.

First thing to look at: IIRC, Installer requires Java, so make sure you have a newer version installed.
Next, to save you trouble: what version of NX are you trying to run?
You are adding to a pretty old posting, that was talking specifically about Win Server 2012.
The case with Win 10 could be quite different.
NX is not certified on Win 10 until NX 10.0.3 or later.
I don't recall what version of License Server NX 10 required, but thought it would be newer than 22.214.171.124, which seems a bit old?
Your best bet is to try downloading the latest License Server (currently 8.2.5) for use on Win 10.

Not sure why you don't see the documents that I linked, as they opened just fine for me.
Could be, that you have a (Webkey) account only valid for the Community site, not for the Solutions center. Else it should work just fine.
