I have base in my drawing and I´m trying to make basic projected section view. Just a cutline with letters A-A appears on the baseviw, but section view itself is missing. It wont even offer to place it anywhere, after clicking the cutline on the base view.
All the layers are visible and all the plus icons are clicked from "show and hide".
Once you have created the sectional line, you can create the sectional view by other command. I dont rememeber how the command is named in english but must be something like sectional view or section view.
This comand can be also used to directly/quickly create section views whose section line has one or two segments.
Just a one little problem, I do not have that kind of settings in my NX9.
When placing the view, press the "settings" button
The setting mentioned by @joewhite will be in that dialog.

That workflow is not available in NX 9, the new section line command came about in NX 10.
It's not so obvious in NX 9. Having defined your hinge line, right mouse click and on the popup menu you'll see that "Section Line Only" is enabled:
Disable this option on the menu and your views should now show.
