Punch a text in sheet metal enviroment

Hello,

I have not to much experience in Sheet metal Enviroment and I need some help. How can I to punch a text into a sheet of metal?  I've used  text command following with insert/punch/bead.

It apears an error: "section should not contain a B spline curve with sharp corners"

Thanks for your help.

You need to use a single stroke text font.  Use 'Modern'.

I should have added that there can be no 'corners' on the text.  You may need to work on the text curves to get them smooth and tangent.

Thanks for your reply. Definitely I need to work on the text curves. With "modern Font" only Works on letters with straight sections and not with curves like, C, S, etc

You may need to define your own font

I would suggest using Fontforge, but there are others as well.
