Hello all,

 

 

  One of my customer is facing an issue while exporting to stp. The issue is whenever he creates a new part and tries to export it was exporting successfully without any issue the problem comes whenever he opens a .prt file of old files in the export step translator window error comes C++ exception and only log file was coming as output but not stp file and this happens only on old files.

 

 

Any suggestions how to clear this issue!

Hi @karthik6,

If possible, try to export STEP using same part files on another machine having the same version of NX. Otherwise, I would suggest to log an IR to GTAC with necessary log, part files.

Thanks for the prompt reply .Yes I've tried in my machine it is exporting properly.But whenever i try in their PC C++Exception Caught will appear in log file and it happens only with old files.

It's a know problem, that is currently being fixed.

My understanding is that it's related to a Windows Update.

 

Workaround is the use File -> Save As and at the bottom of the dialog, then change the file type to STEP.
Once the type is specified, you can use the Options button to specify any settings required.

I have the same problem with NX11 with windows 10. However, I have no problem with a windows seven installation.

I had the same problem, I have solved (temporarily) it by installing  http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/123914/en-us

nVidia driver.

Has this issue been fixed?  Running into this same issue with NX11.0.2 mp4?

Microsoft has the following page which seems to reflect what users have done so far to correct this issue: Update drivers in Windows 10.  Google results reveal that this is not a new problem.  We're still collecting information, so I hope to have something more concrete to share soon.
