Please see attached image which is just a portion of a part that I have imported from Parasolid data (dumb solid). I am looking for a way to select holes/cylinders of a certian diameter and change the color of them. There are well of 300 holes on this part so selecting them individually is not a very good option.
Solved! Go to Solution.
How are the holes modeled? In NX8.5 you can assign a color to a feature. For Example you could have put all of the .125" size holes in one hole and or extrude feature. Right click on the feature on the part navigator and assign a feature color.
Oh I missed that parasolid information. My fault. Could you use Group faces with synchronous technology. Use the smart face finder and select same radius. This will make a group of faces in your part navigator. Now you can right click on this group and assign a color to this feature.
