One of the student raised the question why NX ( be it NX9 or NX11) does not show sketch constraint status color after finishing the constraint.
See attached sketch colours from the preferences.
We are able to see the particular color for ex. partially constrained as brown; but the moment we finish the constraint dialogue (geometric/dimensional) we don't have the required display.
Can any one raise a PR for this? Thanks.
Also refer the following post and comment from @BenBroad
"When Continuous Auto Dimensioning is enabled, the sketch ends up as fully constrained. In this mode, it isn't helpful to change all the curves to a new color. The color coding for constraint status is only useful when some geometry is underconstrained. If the user disables Continuous Auto Dimensioning, then it is possible to get underconstrained geometry and the color coding is used."
Just wonder PR as old as 2010 still a distant dream? Eager to see realization of EN.
By mentioning the existing PR# I had hoped to prevent unnecessary time & effort for you and GTAC and that you could simply request that you be added to the existing ER.
Since the functionality (with respect to the sketch colors) hasn't changed since NX7.5 (when the PR was submitted), one should assume that the ER is still valid - though I can't comment on the realization.
