Sketch lines visible in "make displayed part" but not in assembly's "make work part" ?

Hello

Sketch lines/circles are visible in "make displayed part" but not in assembly's "make work part" ?

  • Bug or error ?
  • I can see & create sketch lines and such normally in displayed part but when I go to the assembly and click "make work part" and then try to modify the same sketch they are suddenly not visible anymore ?
  • I can "Normal Cutout" them normally but I just don't see them in "make work part".
  • Happened to me first time. What did i do wrong ?

Check the Reference Set of the loaded component. You can add the sketches to the reference set (Eg: Model) at component level so that when component is loaded with Model reference set, sketch will be visible. Other way you can load the Entire Part reference set so that all the features including datums,sketches will be visible.

Worked +++++

  • It was "entire part".
  • I changed it to "model" and now it works.
